Sitecore Names Three “Awarians” to the 2011 Sitecore Most Valuable Professional (MVP) List

Aware is proud to announce Eric Nordberg (Solution Architect), Jason Hedlund (VP of Technology) and Ben Golden (Solution Architect) have been selected and honored with a Sitecore Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award.

MVP nominees are evaluated by a special Sitecore panel for their technical expertise and voluntary community involvement in the areas of general technical advocacy, input via blogs and forums and content development over the past year. Aware received three out of the fifty-two MVPs named for 2011.

Jason, Eric and Ben join an elite group of professionals who are some of the most active Sitecore community members from around the world, providing invaluable contributions by solving problems and discovering new ways to transform technology. Ben, originally awarded MVP in 2008, was re-nominated by the Sitecore community in 2011. This unique honor is a testament to Ben’s expertise and active involvement with the Sitecore community.

This was a well-deserved honor for Ben, Eric and Jason. Congratulations!

In their press release announcing the 2011 Sitecore MVP list, Sitecore included the following…

“MVPs are technology experts who inspire others to learn and grow through active participation in the Sitecore technical community,” said Lars Nielsen, senior vice president, technical marketing, Sitecore. “MVPs are not just about evangelizing Sitecore. They are passionate about improving technology and driving innovation and sharing their knowledge and real-world experiences at user groups, on blogs and on social channels. This year’s prestigious list represents individuals who share the same passion for technology and a willingness to help others innovate and advance the use of Web technology. It’s my pleasure to recognize their demonstrated commitment to the technology community worldwide.”
