Event: Working Social Tour Stops in Minneapolis

As a virtual company Aware Web Solutions can attest to the power of social tools in the workplace.

Through the use of products like Yammer, Office 365 and SharePoint, Aware has been able to continue fueling employee engagement and innovative collaboration for over 15 years – regardless of the miles between our home offices.

This year’s Working Social Tour will showcase how businesses have transformed through the use of Microsoft’s business tools and even more specifically their social engagement platform – Yammer. Aware is on board for this year’s tour, which makes its stop in Minneapolis on November 7. Join us as we hear from enterprise social adoption visionaries Adam Pisoni, Yammer Co-Founder and CTO, and Charlene Li, Founder & Managing Partner at Altimeter Group. The event will also feature informative breakout sessions, product demos, hands-on training and networking opportunities with peers over cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

Reserve your complimentary spot today and be sure to stop by the Aware booth!

Awarians share their #YammerMoments:

“I think of Yammer as our virtual water cooler, a way to stay in touch even when we’re working miles or even states apart. We share stories about projects we’re working on, things going on in our lives, interesting articles, and I particularly like posting a random link on Fridays like this one: http://www.theageofmammals.com/burgers.” Jonathan Healy, UX Designer at Aware

“Yammer gives us a place to send remote high-fives on a job well done, virtual birthday cupcakes that never go stale and leads to some creative project collaboration opportunities as well! It’s a place where the individual contributor can feel like part of the team.” Brookley Wofford, Community Engagement Specialist at Aware

“Working in a virtual environment can make it hard to organize impromptu happy hours or other events that help us feel connected as part of a larger team, so I like using Yammer to suggest casual get-togethers after work or lunches with nearby coworkers. It’s the best way to mimic the brick and mortar office environment and to foster an engaging atmosphere.” Dan Miller, Creative Director at Aware
