Position Summary
The Technical Analyst position requires strong client interaction skills, proven experience collecting, analyzing and documenting detailed technical requirements and excellent writing skills. Applicant must be self-motivated, a strong communicator and be willing to work in both small and large team settings.  This position will work directly with prospects, clients and Aware’s internal resources to capture, define and document detailed project requirements.  They will be responsible for owning and updating all front and back-end project documentation.

Position Requirements / Attributes:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 3-6 years of equivalent work experience
• Experience with collecting, analyzing and documenting detailed technical requirements to be handed over to development teams to implement
• Experienced in client services and consulting
• Strong understanding of front (XHTML, CSS) and back end (.NET, C#, SQL) development
• Clear communication and strong writing skills
• Ability to multitask various clients and projects within
• Familiarity with both agile and waterfall development methodologies
• Strong organization
• Attention to detail
• Experience with CMS implementation / integration a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for owning and updating all front and back-end project documentation\
• Gathering requirements through client and user interviews, research, ongoing communications, competitor reviews and other effective methods
• Translating and documenting requirements into project briefs/outlines and site specifications
• Identifying options for potential solutions, assess them for both technical and business suitability and identify optimal measurement techniques to show success
• Collaborating with the project team to ensure solution compatibility and user satisfaction
• Creating or assisting in the production of proposals or statements of work
• Presenting recommendations and services to prospects / clients

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Supporting team members to understand project deliverables
• Preparing and delivering user and technical documentation and training as appropriate
• Developing and enhancing Aware’s technical documentation processes
